The Mac Group take a holistic approach to life and personal development.

Our work involves complementary therapies, life coaching, art and creativity, movement and mindfulness.

We are a constituted group of professionals, from your community, with a wealth of experience in the fields of holistic health.

Our services help support the demands and stressors of modern day living which many people face today. We offer 1 to 1 and group sessions led by experienced and qualified therapists.

We currently offer Hypnotherapy, Massage Treatments, Counselling, Life Coaching, Resilience Training, Meditation & Mindfulness – Groups or 1 to 1 sessions.

Creative Arts

Creative arts helps de-stress, calm and engage in a creative process that can help make choices, build confidence and self-esteem.

Meditation

Meditation is the practice of training your mind to become peaceful. When our mind is peaceful life becomes so much easier to manage, to do what needs to be done and do the things we want to do too. Peace of mind finds us freer – our worries are easier to and mental discomfort which we allow true happiness to arise.

Massage

Massage involves working and acting on the body with pressure. Techniques are commonly applied using hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearm, feet, or a device. The purpose of massage is generally promoted as treatment for stress or pain.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis uses natural trance states of focussed attention that everyone enters naturally every day.  For example when you’re deeply concentrating on a film you’re watching or a book you’re reading and you don’t hear someone speak to you, or when you arrive at your familiar destination and realise you don’t remember the journey.

You are deeply relaxed and guided into this trance state where your attention can be focussed by the therapist for therapeutic benefit.  You will use your imagination and hear suggestions about change.

Reiki Healing

Reiki is a Japanese term meaning “Universal Life Energy” referring to the unseen energy that pervades and gives life to everything. It can be simple and easy to learn and use as a healing technique based on use of natural energy. It is widely used for stress management, relaxation, personal development and to treat various physical and mental ailments. It has lots of other uses too.

Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) commonly known as tapping is a very powerful energy healing technique. It is a combination of Chinese acupuncture and Psychotherapy. It is sometimes referred to as acupuncture without needles. EFT utilises the body’s meridian points, these points are gently tapped on to stimulate the Meridian. This causes reactions in the nervous system and changes the brain eliminating the negative emotion or belief. There is now a great deal of research taking place on EFT and it is being used worldwide including war torn countries to help the victims of severe trauma..
